Autumn 2026 Update.

I spent the last day of the Summer at Yorkshire Sculpture Park, where I saw this piece of art by Jeffrey Gibson and I was struck by how much of ‘keeping on’ whilst suicidal is about what we can imagine, individually and collectively.

Not the Void UK took our Summer break again this year. As a group, we took time to consider how being apart for several weeks might feel and what we might do to feel connected until meetings resumed. Our members shared resources and kept in contact, some going to other peer support meetings together, and then we reunited in September.

It’s fair to say that us co facilitators were nervous and sweaty at our first meeting back but it felt natural to slide back into our meeting introductions and hear how the Summer had been for everyone.

Our Autumn Winter meetings are scheduled and we’re ready to spend with members old and new. We’re also getting back to health ourselves and we’ll be sharing the Constellations learning as we get stronger and process what we’re learned. That way our members can be much more involved in decision making.

The seasons changing can bring up a lot of different things for people as they navigate feeling suicidal and staying in this world. We’re here working with those feelings and holding space for each other.
