A May Update

It’s been such a busy time this month! I wanted to let you know how the group plans are getting on.

Firstly, thank you to everyone who got in touch, subscribed to this blog, asked me questions, expressed that you wanted to join a meeting. The response to my invitation to start an Alternatives to Suicide group has been a truly hopeful sign in a dark few weeks, my inbox has been filling up. I appreciate NSUN for sharing details on their twitter feed.

Soteria UK have been among those folks to get in touch. If you haven’t encountered their work before, please do take a look. Soteria is another non co-ercive, anti oppressive community of practice network who envisage safe peer respite spaces for people who are suffering.

I wanted to give a shout out to Suicide Crisis, they got in touch and it was a bright monent in my day because their work has been a huge inspiration to me in my life.
